2017/2018 ANNUAL REPORT
INVITATION TO SUBMIT REPRESENTATION

Notice is hereby given in terms of section 21A of the Local Government Systems Act
(Act 32 of 2000) and section 127 (5) (a) of the Municipal Finance Management Act (Act
56 of 2003) that the Annual Report in respect of the 2017/18 financial year is submitted
for public comment and input. The report includes:

2017 2018 Annual Report

 the financial statements;
 the Auditor-General’s audit report.

The Annual Report will be available for inspection at all the municipal offices/libraries.
The public is invited to submit inputs, comments and make representations in connection
with the Annual Report in writing and to submit it not later than Thursday, 28 February
2019 to:

Persons who cannot read or write are requested to visit the municipal offices in
Riversdale for assistance to put their representations in writing.
All representations will be submitted to MPAC for their consideration.

2017/2018 JAARVERSLAG: UITNODIGING OM VERTOË TE RIG

Kennis geskied hiermee ingevolge artikel 21A van die Wet op Plaaslike Regering:
Munisipale Stelsels (Wet 32 van 2000) asook artikel 127 (5) (a) van die Wet op Plaaslike
Regering: Munisipale Finansiële Bestuur (Wet 56 van 2003) dat die Jaarverslag vir die
2017/18 finansiële jaar voorgelê word vir publieke kommentaar en insette. Die verslag
sluit onder andere in:

2017 2018 Jaarverslag 

 die finansiële state;
 die ouditverslag van die Ouditeur-Generaal.

Die Jaarverslag sal beskikbaar wees by alle Munisipale kantore en biblioteke.
Die publiek word genooi om insette, kommentaar en vertoë met betrekking tot die
Jaarverslag skriftelik voor te lê en in te dien teen nie later as Donderdag 28 Februarie
2019 om 12H00 aan:

Persone wat nie kan lees of skryf nie word versoek om gedurende normale kantoorure
die munisipale kantoor op Riversdal te besoek waar u bygestaan sal word om u vertoë
op skrif te stel.
Alle insette sal aan MPAC wat die oorsigproses hanteer,voorgelê word vir oorweging.
