NOTICE TO REMOVE RECREATIONAL WATER VESSELS – STILBAAI

On 1 March 2022 an inspection was conducted at the Lapskuit beach area and the riparian zone of the Goukou estuary in Stilbaai, in order to compile a list of the various recreational water vessels either abandoned or left unattended on the aforementioned areas.

A detailed list with photographs of the various recreational water vessels was compiled (see below).

The list is also available for inspection and viewing on the municipal website at https://www.hessequa.gov.za/?cdm_linkout=MjMxMQ== and at the Municipal Offices and Libraries in Riversdale, Heidelberg, Albertinia, Slangrivier, Gouritsmond, Witsand and Stilbaai.

The lawful owners and/or users and/or those in title are hereby notified to remove their recreational water vessels by Friday, 6 May 2022. Should the vessels be unclaimed by no later than Friday 6 May 2022, appropriate steps will be taken for forfeiture by the Municipality. 

Enquiries on the list can be submitted from Friday 8 April 2022 to Friday 6 May 2022 to reach the Acting Municipal Manager, P.O Box 29, Riversdale, 6670, or via e-mail: shagon@hessequa.gov.za or phillip@hessequa.gov.za, not later than  Friday 6 May 2022 at 15h30.

In terms of section 21(4) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, No. 32 of 2000, notice is hereby given that people who are unable to read or write are encouraged to visit the Municipal Offices during ordinary office hours, where they will be assisted by the Department: Environmental Management personnel to formulate their written comments.

KENNISGEWING OM ONTSPANNINGS VAARTUIE TE VERWYDER – STILBAAI

Op 1 Maart 2022 is ‘n inspeksie by Lapskuit-strandgebied en die oewersone van die Goukou Estuarium in Stilbaai gedoen ten einde ‘n lys van die verskillende ontspannings watervaartuie wat verlate of onbewaak op die genoemde gebiede gelaat is, saam te stel.

‘n Gedetailleerde lys met foto’s van die verskillende ontspanningswatervaartuie is saamgestel (sien onder).

Die lys is ook beskikbaar vir inspeksie en besigtiging op die munisipale webwerf by https://www.hessequa.gov.za/?cdm_linkout=MjMxMQ== en by die Munisipale Kantore en Biblioteke in Riversdal, Heidelberg, Albertinia, Slangrivier, Gouritsmond, Witsand en Stilbaai.

Die wettige eienaars en/of gebruikers en/of die wat titel hou word hiermee kennis gegee om hul ontspanningswatervaartuie teen Vrydag 6 Mei 2022 te verwyder. Indien die vaartuie nie voor of op Vrydag 6 Mei 2022 opgeëis is nie, sal die Munisipaliteit die nodige stappe neem om die vaartuie verbeurd te laat verklaar.

Navrae ten opsigte van die lys kan vanaf Vrydag, 8 April 2022 tot Vrydag 6 Mei 2022 ingedien word om die Waarnemende Munisipale Bestuurder, Posbus 29, Riversdal, 6670 te bereik, of per e-pos: shagon@hessequa.gov.za of phillip@hessequa.gov.za, nie later nie as Vrydag 6 Mei 2022 om 15h30.

Ingevolge artikel 21(4) van die Wet op Plaaslike Regering: Wet op Munisipale Stelsels, No. 32 van 2000, word kennis hiermee gegee dat persone wat nie kan lees of skryf nie aangemoedig word om gedurende gewone kantoorure die Munisipale Kantore te besoek, waar daar ondersteuning gelewer sal word deur ‘n beampte van die Departement: Omgewingsbestuur om die kommentaar skriftelik te formuleer.
