The Chairperson of the Hessequa Council, Councillor Andrew Stroebel made the following announcement during the council meeting held on 29 September 2021:
That the Hessequa municipal council will be in recess from 1 October 2021 to 1 November 2021. Due to the recess, normal Ward Committee and IDP/Budget outreach meetings will note take place.
Residents, stakeholders and other sectors are invited to submit their comments and input in writing with regards to the IDP review and development of the multi-year budget for 2022/2023.
INPUTS must be sent to inputs@hessequa.gov.za on or before the 30 October 2021.
The draft IDP and multi-year budget will be tabled before the new council in March 2022.
Thereafter the public processes as outlined in the approved IDP & Budget time schedule for 2021/2022 financial year will follow.
