Ons doen ʼn beroep op die inwoners van Hessequa om geduldig te wees en nie hul frustrasies op Departement Gesondheid se personeel wat die inentings toedien, uit te haal nie. Die hoeveelheid vaksines wat beskikbaar is by die onderskeie inentingslokale per dag is ongelukkig onderhewig aan die hoeveelheid dosisse wat die Wes Kaapse regering vanaf die Nasionale Departement van Gesondheid ontvang. Die personeel doen hulle bes om ʼn diens van hoogstaande gehalte aan die publiek te lewer onder omstandighede wat buite hulle beheer is. Wees dus asseblief redelik, regverdig en bedagsaam en behandel die personeel met die respek waarmee jy behandel wil word.
DISRESPECTFUL AND VERBAL ABUSE UNACCEPTABLE
We urge the residents of Hessequa to be patient and not to vent their frustration on the Department of Health’s staff administering the vaccinations. The number of vaccines available on a daily basis at the various vaccination sites are unfortunately subject to the number of doses that the Western Cape government receives from the National Department of Health. The staff are doing their best to provide a high-quality service to the public under circumstances that are beyond their control. So please be reasonable, fair and considerate and treat the staff with the respect you want to be treated with.
