We have received a number of complaints relating to Power Dips in Witsand. We have confirmed on our Telemetry system that indeed such power dips have occurred in the past month between 19:00hrs and 20:00hrs.
We have referred the matter to Eskom to investigate their quality of supply to our network in Witsand.
In the past, such occurrences have been attributed to bird activity near the Salt Pan and we await Eskom’s feedback on whether this is still the cause and what will be done to solve this issue.
