Hessequa Municipality appointed Wafumana Projects (contact person: Jason Mduma) to upgrade the stormwater infrastructure next to the following roads:
DATE : January to 27 March 2026
AFFECTED AREAS: Buitekant Street (from the corner of the electrical substation up to Fourie Street) and Fourie Street (from Buitekant Street to Mission Street) in Heidelberg.
Site preparation has started and construction is expected to continue until 27 March 2026. Properties on these roads will be affected by the construction and are urged to make alternative arrangements. Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the construction. Access to these properties will be made available, where possible. Please note that the programme might be affected due to weather conditions.
