EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EXERCISE: 16 NOVEMBER 2021

Please take note that the Garden Route District Municipality in collaboration with the Hessequa Local Municipality, will have an Emergency Preparedness Exercise, tomorrow, 16 November 2021, on the N2 at the Still Bay Entrance.

The goal of this exercise is to analyse and appraise the multi-agency approach and response to a hazardous incident in the Hessequa area.

The incident is not real; however, the response activities during the fictional exercise will be practiced in a manner that is as realistic as possible.

The area where the exercise will take place will be clearly marked.  For your safety, and in order to complete the exercise in a realistic environment, the exercise area will not be open to the public.  We ask for your patience and support if the exercise disrupts your daily routine.

Thank for your file upload
