Dispose of electronic waste the responsible way. Hessequa Municipality is giving residents the opportunity to get rid of their electronic waste free of charge and safely. Bring your e-waste to a stall in front of the Theronsville Community Hall in Albertinia on 24 March 2023 for collection.
PLEASE NOTE: The next open day is planned for June 2023 in Heidelberg. The rest of the towns’ dates will follow and will be communicated to the public timeously.
E-waste usually consists of easily recyclable materials, such as plastic and glass, as well as small amounts of toxic materials that can include lead, cobalt, silicon, mercury and arsenic. Electronic waste can be old computers (laptops), photocopiers, printers, radios, projectors, televisions, telephones (smartphones and tablets), keyboards, scanners, etc.
