Please note the following dates for which roads will be affected:
Hessequa Municipality has appointed Kuqityiwe Construction T/A Gencon Structures (contact person: Sikulele Mjali), for the upgrading of roads in Witsand from Monday 22 June 2026 till 26 June 2026. The following roads will be affected:
- Roman Street (From Main Road to halfway between Koningklip Street and Kolstert Street intersections)
Properties on these roads will be affected by the construction and are urged to make alternative arrangements. Traffic control will be in place for the duration of the construction. Access to these properties will be made available, where possible.
Please note that the programme might be affected due to weather conditions.

Hessequa Munisipaliteit het Kuqityiwe Construction H/A Gencon Structures (kontakpersoon: Sikulele Mjali) aangestel vir die opgradering van paaie in Witsand vanaf Maandag 22 Junie 2026 tot 26 Junie 2026. Die volgende paaie sal geraak word:
- Romanstraat (Vanaf Hoofweg tot halfpad tussen Koningklipstraat- en Kolstertstraat-interseksies)
Eiendomme in hierdie paaie sal deur die konstruksie geraak word en word dus versoek om alternatiewe reëlings te tref. Verkeersbeheer sal in plek wees vir die duur van die konstruksie. Toegang tot hierdie eiendomme, sal waar moontlik, beskikbaar gemaak word.
Neem asseblief kennis dat die program beïnvloed kan word as gevolg van weerstoestande.
