Residents are hereby informed that Eskom / National Transmission Company South Africa will undertake planned maintenance at the Proteus Substation on 22 and 23 September 2026.
No interruption of electricity supply to Hessequa Municipality customers is currently anticipated, as supply will be maintained during the work.
However, the network will operate with reduced redundancy during this period. Should an unforeseen network fault occur while the maintenance is in progress, electricity supply interruptions may be experienced.
We thank residents for their understanding and cooperation during this period. Hessequa Municipality will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any relevant updates should circumstances change.
