Hessequa Municipality in partnership with the Western Cape Government Mobility Department are offering free Vehicle Safety Checks on Monday 30 March 2026 until Thursday 02 April 2026.
Easter is one of the most critical periods. Easter covers a concentrated four-day period with many motorists traveling the length and breadth of our municipal boundaries for religious, touring and returning home purposes. Many transport operators convey freight and passengers on our road network during this period which results in a massive increase of different modes of transport traveling along the major arterials and secondary routes in our area en route to different destinations.
