Applications are open for the FNB Youth Start-up Accelerator. This partnership between FNB and Fetola, is for Mzansi’s movers and shakers, hustlers, innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs who are passionately driven to succeed. Do you have a business or a business idea that you think could ignite positive change and create an impact in South Africa? Then bring it to the table! We want to help people just like you, to nurture you as an entrepreneur and connect you with like-minded innovators so that you can take your business or business idea to the next level.
Application Criteria:
- You are between 18 and 35 years old
- Have a start-up (early-stage business) or unique idea for starting a business
- The business is at least 51% black-owned with annual turnover not exceeding R250,000
- Display a passion and the resilience needed for business
- A desire to create a profitable and sustainable business (not an NGO)
- Preference will be given to applicants based in township, peri-urban or rural areas
- Pre-revenue technology platforms, NPOs or businesses with high capital need are excluded from participating in the programme
- You must not be employed full time or studying full time
