Stakeholders in the Hessequa Municipal Area are hereby invited to submit nominations in order to fill vacant positions on the ward committee of ward 9 for the period 2022 – 2027. To be considered, the organisation and/or business must exist for at least one (1) year. The Individuals nominated must be a registered voter.
The representatives of the different interest groups/geographical area form the basis of each ward committee, with the ward councillor as the chairperson. Ward committees act as the official public participation mechanism of the Council’s operational activities and assist the Council to undertake public participation in respect of the Integrated Development Plan, Municipal By-Laws, Budget, Policy Formulation and the Council’s Performance Management System.

Belangegroepe in die Hessequa Munisipale Area word hiermee uitgenooi om nominasies in te dien ten einde 3 vakante posisies op die Wykskomitee van Wyk 9 vir die periode 2022 – 2027, te vul. Om oorweeg te word moet die organisasie en/of besigheid vir ten minste een (1) jaar bestaan. Die Individue wat genomineer word moet ʼn geregistreerde kieser wees.
Die verteenwoordigers van die verskillende belangegroepe/geografiese area vorm die basis van elke wykskomitee, met die Wyksraadslid as die voorsitter. Wykskomitees tree op as amptelike publieke deelname meganisme van die Raad se operasionele aktiwiteite en assisteer die Raad om publieke deelname te onderneem ten opsigte van die Geïntegreerde Ontwikkelings Plan, Munisipale Verordeninge, Begroting, Beleidsformulering en die Prestasie Bestuurstelsel van die Raad.
