At Garcia to the west towards Groot Vadersbos, the head of fire is contained with the assistance of aerial resources
On the south-east corner, close to Korenteriver and above the plantation, aerial resources will attempt preventing fire entering the plantations. Ground teams of WOF and Cape Nature are on the lines.
On the northern line, above Fisantekraal Fontein the Garden Route DM Fire Fighters are fighting a fire line to prevent spreading to farm lands.
