As communicated recently, FNB has made the decision to discontinue the issuing of cheques as of 31 December 2020 which means that our clients will no longer be able to issue cheques after this date. There have been some date changes in the phased approach to exit cheques as a payment instrument. Please refer to the below table with regard to this.
